15aud delivery for me in Victoria

Unfortunately their flat $15 delivery kills it, unless you spend $100 or more to get Free delivery
And I am not enthused about their white colour 😊 😜

    • Agreed with the delivery. I tried looking at some stuff they have (not a lot online) and was still coming up short.
In regards to the colour, for me:
      - It's something you can only wear up to 30 times (a month if you go out once a day to exercise) and needs to wash daily (potentially rotate between the two). Generic means less attachment to it.
      - It's (organic) cotton which is recyclable and solid colour means easier for fabric recyclers to handle

  • Add delivery to the title please.

  • This looks like I’m wrapping my face with a sanitary pad.

  • water absorbency

How is this supposed to be a key selling point?

    • If it doesn't absorb the moisture from your mouth when you breath (or sneezes), your face area gets too wet. This then leads to you constantly adjusting your mask, taking it off or itching around the area (nose and mouth, generally). All these things may cause you to touch your face and allow you to get infected or infect others.

The 'wire' info up there I assumed suggests that these masks also have a bendable nose wire so it can be adjusted to sit better on your face? I wonder if anyone can confirm this?

I've seen enough evidence to suggest their useless anyway, unless you're someone who has the virus.

Masks certainly haven't stopped health care workers from getting the virus.

Hence, there was never a reason for people to wear them initially. Dan is base covering in an attempt to avoid any further criticism.

Interesting, and badly misinformed as any simple search will tell you. The evidence for community use of masks to reduce transmission has mounted in recent months and is actually compelling. That scenario is totally different to the situation which face health workers in close proximity to very sick people. The problem in Vic stems from complacency, culpable (imo) ignorance/stupidity, and people failing to follow simple directions. Attitudes like those in your last two sentences don't help.

          • @[Deactivated]: Indoors, I can appreciate it. Outdoors, while social distancing, mask wearing is not necessary. Unless you're experiencing symptoms.
Amazing we got the virus out of the way initially without masks. Most people aren't even wearing them properly too, good evidence suggests they do more damage than good. Most are NOT wearing disposable masks.

  • Anyone actually seen these at their physical stores?

  • 100% cotton that can only withstand 30 hand washes? What?

You will probably find that the following wears out over the 30 washes, not the cotton

      anti-bacterial and deodorant treatment
