Wireless Arc Mouse $9.95 + $4.95 Shipping (to Qld)

76

I'm looking for a replacement mouse and at this price for a wireless seems more than reasonable. Don't know about ShoppingSquare's history though. Any comments?

MOD EDIT

Removed brand name in post as SQ website has no reference to a brand, which would infer its a clone of a brand product.

Is it really Microsoft? I can't see "Microsoft" from the link!

Good comment - almost certainly a copy non genuine mouse for the price

      • Thanks, I had missed that!

  • errr nothing on that page says microsoft lol

Its not the microsoft arc, i ordered mine with a few other items 2 weeks ago. And the mouse still isnt here, i am told its coming from china.

Best advice stay away unless your patient, for a copy of the real thing!

Description changed, and thanks to those who made a REPORT on this.

Yeah, disappointed with ShoppingSquare on this one. See the enlarged box shot (3rd photo).

Arc has to be the most unergonomic mouse around. Thumb has no place to rest!

Form over function is becoming more widespread everyday

I use an arc mouse… and it's a HELL of a lot more ergonimic than those MS and Logitech mini/laptop mice.

Are you are a thumb dragger? What do you want, a shelf to rest your thumb on, like on the MX Revolution etc?

This is an extremely compact travelling laptop mouse. It's not intended for continuous desktop usage.

  • i just ordered one. looks ok, cheap enough to be a spare for work laptop :)
    thanks op!

Sorry, LESS than $7 delivered from eBay….identical to the shoppingsquare model, and both coming from HK/PRC!

this is only a bargain if it was a genuine MS

    not a deal…..

Bought one of these back in May 2011 for $9.95 and free delivery.
Best cheap mouse ever. Yes its Chinese import and generic but it works great and use it with my laptop.
    Why pay $$$$

  • NOTE - I have a genuine MS Arc mouse, and it uses a LASER sensor.

The cheapy clones like this one are optical (red LED) and don't track very well on dark or shiny surfaces.

    • Kind of funny. Have one of those really old wired apple optical mouses. The one that is like a magic mouse but has wires, and has the 'knob' for wheel.

Strange that it works on dark surfaces (Black the best) and barely works on white or lighter color surfaces.

  • With crap like this, ShoppingSquare is solidly positioning itself to be the new Catch-of-the-Day as champion of the Likelihood-Of-Dodginess leaderboard.

  • what an ugly mouse. where is your thumb supposed to rest?

    $8.68 delivered here http://www.buyincoins.com/details/new-fold-up-2-4ghz-wireles…

  • This isn't a Microsoft one. Our ms arc at home is genuine and the dongle isn't that small, sticks out about 6mm.
The mouse works really well iand is comfortable to use.
