The Optus Deal is for 28 Days only though right you could get 3 months from the Belong Plan if data wasn't an issue.

Aldi has a PAYG plan for $15 a year.
Edit: costs $10 for a sim card so $25 for 365 days.
Aldimobile's $5 sim card is loaded with $5 value, and is valid for 1 year.
Good value for an active number. does the $5 starter SIM cost $10 too?
