Is the PD charging means you still need a PD charger?

    • +1

Yes it just allows PD pass-through for laptops with only one c port so you can have extra ports and charge at the same time.

    • I'd also love one more like a dock, ie can charge through USB-C as well as have USB 3 ports, Ethernet and HDMI.

Any USB 3.0 hub instead of USB C?

    • Coming soon Bro

Is that powerful enough for multiple USB portable hard disks? A lot of hub didn't.

    • +1

From the review I would say no.

"HDMI/Ethernet Work but only 1 out of 3 USB can be used at the same time"

    • It would see the hard disk, If you connect high power consumption devices ( maybe more than 900 milliamps) HDD, you'd better use power supply to offer extra power. It the problem of USB power output.

Just received their 7-in one hub, wife tried to use it today and her Mac is unable to connect to wifi (both 2.4 and 5 Ghz). Disconnect the hub and connectivity is back. Connect again and bingo! Mac loses wifi.

So not sure why but….oh well, free returns :-)

I've had this issue before with other macs when using type-c USB and is not because of this specific adapter.

you'll find plenty of other users with similar problems if you google "mac type-c wifi"

It's a signal bug that can't completely avoid. Intel has an official report for this.

    Hey,

Could you use this on a 13" MBP running 2x 24" 1080p screens?

    Thought would be…
    Monitor 1 = HDMI
    Monitor 2 = HDMI to USB-C

    Thanks for the deal OP.

Will this work on my Google Pixel 3 XL and 4 XL phones to provide OTG, Passthrough Charging and HDMI?

    • I don't have google, but it works on Samsung.
