      Sadly it is a bit of a scam. I took advantage of the deal but the cashback never came through. What should have cost me $13 has now cost me $140.
      Word of advice is if the cashback hasn't been processed for 2 weeks, just cancel the subscription. Saves you the hassle.

      I thought I'd go through the proper process and let them investigate the cashback. They will just delay it for over 30 days and in the end you won't be able to cancel your sub.

      Just thought I'll mention it. Otherwise the VPN service is mostly reliable and up.

    What happens after 3 years? Join again using new email address and use the same cash rewards account? Would cash rewards know that I have already joined 3 years ago using a different email address?

    I've enjoyed Nord on my 90% off 3 years so far, performance generally great. But the lack of split-tunneling for applications on windows (I know surf shark has it, unsure about the other usual OzBargain favourites) is rather annoying.
    Telstra mail has blacklisted all Nords IPs for SMTP, so need to disconnect if I want to send an email since I can't whitelist em client.

      My experience has been intermittent, it works sometimes and other times just times out on loading. More interestingly though there is not such a big difference between the US and Aussie catalog anymore

          I would say it worked for me more often than not. I don't understand why this behaviour occurs, but I had more success using a PC connected to LAN than an Nvidia Shield connected for wifi. I think it's definitely a case of YMMV for this one.
