By the time it gets here RTX 3000 announced..

    • Yeah that's true, maybe it would be worth it to just wait at this point

    • Not actually though …

      • NVIDIA's announcement will be on the 2nd of September for us (1st sept for US 9am Pacific time). They sent out a mass email yesterday to everyone with an NVIDIA account.

Link to the countdown page from the email:

Not sure if Gigabytes warranty is global but if not can grab this for $20 more from Scoptec

  • I paid $840 for this during ebay sale a few weeks back. Any dollar saved is great and would rather pay less, but it meant that I had it earlier and could enjoy the improvement over the past few weeks. It replaced my 1660ti and mainly used for VR racing.

    • @porker, What VR headset you using with this card?

HP Reverb is the current headset of choice. Prior to this I had the Oculus Rift CV1.

  • Gaming OC for $40 more

I could be wrong but from the box pics and specs looks to be just a regular 2070 not Super version.

      • Thanks, you may be right, I am new to Graphic cards and was reading reviews and educating myself yesterday so if you see a difference then most probably they are different :)

  • Yeah, it's just a 2070
