                • @djoz: You can go in and do a practice buy without having to buy.
I am sure BG add GST later in the process, just before you enter payment details.
I did this before to compare RN9 & RN9 Pro prices on BG with Toby Deals and BG was more expensive.
Toby Deals do not collect GST for Australia.

                  • @Cheeper: BG app includes gst in the price. Best to purchase through them only via the app

                    • @DoesntEvenMatter: The RN9 Pro (6/128) works out at $31 more from BG than TD for me. Removed screen & post insurance & used Honey for discounts.
                      TD $327.66 BG $358.53.
I dont use the BG app.

                      • @Cheeper: Because you didn't use the app. App price is inclusive of gst and little bit cheaper generally too.

Jsst was letting you know of using app the price is inclusive to what your seeing on the website before gst

@DoesntEvenMatter: OK… Now I get it.. I installed the app just to see.

There is a fault in the BG app where is mentions GST both in the listing and at the payment stage but does not actually deduct it.

I took a practice order for a 6/64 pro version that you refer to just before entering the payment details and it does say down the bottom… Total Amount GST INCL $325.94 (which includes $3.06 shipping).

The 6/64 version is still about $21 cheaper at TD anyway so nothing gained.

              • @tarkine: $327.33 TOTAL

If your referring to banggood It adds gst

  • Nice tip Did not know

Positive experience with Toby's Deals with ripper delivery during Victoria Lockdown..
Ordered 6gb/128 Redmi Note Pro White on 20/8 05.48 pm and 24/08 11.50 am its delivered via DHL.. 4 days !!
Quite surprised & happy with super speedy delivery .. hope everyone gets the same..

    • Price?

      • +1

        Got it for $338 - $10.24 (CART3 coupon) - $4.92 (shopback) = $322.84

    • Lucky you! I ordered on 18th, it is now still in Melbourne in transit, but I’m in Sydney…

  • Horrible experience with Tobys here. Ordered this and got the “picked” email a few days later. Then nothing.

Today they finally relied and refunded my order.

  • Positive experience here, mine came really quickly!

I ordered a Redmi 9 4Gb/64Gb (not Note 9) from Tobydeal after seeing this post

Ordered on the 21st, just received it this morning

Phone came sealed and should be all good!

    • That's great! How much $ ?

      • +1

        It was for $187 + the CART3 code ($181.39) + $2.54 CashRewards to total was $178.85

I don't play any games or use the camera much so didn't pay the extra $50 for the better graphics and camera

        Thanks OP!

Got my note 9 pro today, absolutely love it. Cases and screen protectors arrived on the same day. Happy!

  • Fast delivery, 2 weeks from China is pretty good.

Arrived today, model # M2003J15SG so has NFC according to https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/9149862/redir - I haven't actually tested.

    • That's an RN9 (not Pro or S)

      • -2

Ok mate. I hope this is the case as I just ordered a redmi note 9 based on you saying it has NFC

        • +1

I said mine is "model # M2003J15SG so has NFC ACCORDING TO https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/9149862/redir - I HAVEN'T ACTUALLY TESTED."

As you can see, I didn't actually say it has NFC (because I haven't tested and don't know in my own experience). So if you based your decision to purchase on what you thought I said you are mistaken.

And even so, they might send you a different model (the …15SS). You should read the whole thread more carefully.

          But you might be lucky.

          • -1

@JH100: Mate. Relax. It's only $235. If it doesn't have NFC I'll sell it on and buy elsewhere.

            • -1

@Chetnik73: Mate. Relax. Use your words more accurately if you don't like being corrected.

              • -2

@JH100: Not here to burn you champ, but you are the one who posted that you got a M2003J15SG model which is the global model with NFC. For some small cash i'm willing to risk it but i hope you haven't mislead others. So i say again, Mate relax

                • -2

                  @Chetnik73: Ha ha ha …

Bye bye baby, bye bye …

                • -1

@Chetnik73: "M2003J15SG model which is the global model with NFC." If you say so … I haven't.

If you are misled it is by your own erroneous assumptions.

                  • -2

@JH100: This community is about helping people. Why don't you just turn on your phone and tell us if it has nfc or not? No need to act like a child. Help not hinder.

                • @Chetnik73: JH100 hasn't mislead anyone, including you. He stated it had NFC according to another post above in this thread and then mentioned he had not tested it himself. Regardless, the onus is on you to check with tobydeals for NFC functionality and take it up with them if your purchase does not have it, not JH100 or anyone else's.

Received this on Monday in QLD, so exactly 14 days after ordering.

There's an orange NFC sticker on the external packaging.

Probably am going to persist with my old for a few days until I can set up the new one how I like it.

    • The one I received doesn't have NFC

    • +1

Received my one Tuesday and definitely has NFC when you go to the settings.

      • Arhh, unlucky for me.

        • I think you can still get a smart watch with NFC and link it to the phone?

    • +1

I got mine Tuesday and has NFC. Has orange sticker and checked and it works fine

Seems it is pot luck if you receive an NFC model or not. I just got the following from Tobys when i just asked if it had NFC

    Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email. As requested, we have cancelled your order from our system because the said item does not have NFC. Our finance team, will arrange the full refund back to your Paypal account within 1 working day

We apologize for any inconvenience it might have caused

  • Sorry wrong thread.
