  • Farout I just bought the Silicon Power 500gb for $74 lol

    oh well, seems its a little faster

    • Is the silicon power one faster?

      • Crucial has Dram and Silicon Power does not. You can work out which one is faster

  • Shows up as $87.03 for me… marginally cheaper :)

    • Is that on Amazon ? Price: $88.99 for me

    1tb = $159.93 if anyone interested

    • note shopping express is about 150 inc post for WD blue 1TB. Slightly higher write endurance.

  • https://www.amazon.com.au/Red-SA500-500GB-NAND-Internal/dp/B… - 500gb WD Red NAS SSD for $97 - not much more and I'm assuming a superior drive?

  • waiting for after pay day in a day or 2. hopefully still this pay if not a better deal there.

  • Do they come with SATA cables?

    • No.
      But your motherboard will probably have come with 1 or 2.

      If you need new ones, you can get decent ones quite cheaply from most places.
      I got mine from Amazon (Ugreen, 3 pack)

      Handy Tip:
      Look at your mobo layout first and decide whether or not to get the 0 degrees (straight) or 90 degrees SATA plugs.

  • I'm kicking myself in the butt for missing the 2TB sale of this :L
