you prefer landline home phone too ;), over mobile phone?

good product, price can be better, got mine sub 600 for the same set 10 months ago. currently in use, happy with it.

    • How many times did you have to recharge in 10 months ?

I've got one of these kits, can comment.

My front door camera is currently at 13% battery, was activated late november last year. Give or take that's 87% battery used for 75% of the year and it cops a beating in terms of detections (3043) I'm pretty happy with that.
I also installed one at the rear of my house at the same time, it's at 47% with 931 detections.

I can't see any reason why you wouldn't get a year of battery life if it wasn't in a high traffic zone.

  • is this the same eufycam 2 as the bunnings set?

    • +1

No, the bunnings set has the newer base station 2 and a bonus sensor.

  • Bunnings one is 600 for 2 cameras or 1000 for 4 with bonus sensor and the newer base station. In terms of price would make it about even for a 3 camera setup at 800 bucks. I think you can buy single add on cameras if you really wanted three in total

  • I had 4 cameras set plus echo 3 speaker on boxing day last year for $619.

the good old pre covid days, every thing seems to price Jack during this pandemic

  • I have been considering changing my Arlo Ultra System over to the Eufy.
There model names are very confusing. I could be wrong but it looks like the Bunnings ones are the latest model but a lot of the Amazon, JBHifi, Binglee and Goodguys ones are the older versions. (older model base station has 16GB removable SD Card)
Assume this is the latest model. https://www.eufylife.com/products/variant/eufycam-2/T88411D1

Here is a quick comparison I found but
    https://technicallywell.com/eufycam-2-vs-eufycam-e-vs-eufyca…

I am considering just getting the Eufy Battery Video Doorbell which I think comes with the new homebase and adding camera's separately.
