  • Is it just me or is there no information about the item at all?

    • It charges laptops via the standard USB a port. Probably won’t have an adapter to suit newer laptops so you’ll have to shoot Shintaro an email and they’ll post you one for free.

Use it as a one and done for all my devices/laptops when travelling.

      • The port for power delivery (PD) is USB-C so I'm not sure what adaptor would be required?

        • You can use the adaptor with USB-A port to charge laptops that don't have USB-C charge.

        • The USB-C is PD but doesn’t charge as much (60W vs 70W) as the USB-A port. The adapters are only for the USB-A method of charging which I like, you’d have to supply your own USB C to USB C cable.

@ATangk: I've made a conscious to only buy laptops that support USB-C charging because if the charger is forgotten / dies then temporarily / finding a replacement is easy.

      • I bought one from this deal, it has 7or 8 adapters with the charger.

        • Those adapters look like they’re all for older gen laptops. Didn’t fit my ASUS.

          • @ATangk: Same happened for me, didn't fit my Asus. I emailed Shintaro and they sent me the new correct tip for my Asus via express shipping for free.

            • @sav11: Be careful when you ask for ‘just the tip’

I've emailed them before and they never replied :/

          • @CVonC: That sucks :(

I think it would be worth trying again. A few OzBargainers have had a different experience. We weren't sure which tip was required for my Asus (or if they even had a compatible one). They sent me a few different tips to try, one of which worked. They were sent via express shipping for free.

If no luck tips are pretty cheap on AliExpress from memory.

            • @sav11: Did you use the web form to contact them?

              • @CVonC: Yes I used the web form and I included a link to the exact Asus charger for my device to make it easier for them to identify the right tip. Then they emailed me from [email protected] saying they had some tips but weren't sure if any of them would work and if not they wouldn't be able to help further. Gave them my address and they shipped same day.

  • I bought one of these a while back for a bit more than this, been great so far. Came with a stand for using vertically which is handy.

Hmm it shows a tripod when added to cart… Concerning

Edit: Site seems broken, can't select country region, drop down box won't work and won't let me complete checkout :(

I can't check out , 'this order can't be shipped to your location.' ??

  • Can't select country/region

Really hate when sites use a script to create manufactured demand messages eg. "Hurry only random(x) left" (try refreshing the page and the number will always go back up or down then starts ticking down at random time intervals)

    sites broken (cant pick country)

Can you use the PayPal express checkout to bypass that shipping address page?

      E: nvm can’t.

  • Great USB charger, charging my 2020 Spectre on PD as I type (60w). Wish I could buy another, checkout busted on the country selection, as mentioned above. :(

  • This is $10 more but comes with 2 USB PD ports - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07YL3M9BN

    • But less ports and not compatible with older laptops

  • This looks exactly same as the one I bought from Kogan earlier. I bought for $59 2-3 years ago. It works well. The only complain I have is that all 4 USB-A ports are quick-charge. For most of the time I don't want to quick charge.

  • I wonder if they will do any deals on this case?
