          Ahh got it working.
The problem seems to be related to using a "+" in my email address. Plus sign is a perfectly valid email character but some websites do reject it with an error message - this one just gets stuck.

          • @abb: With some services, if you have have to call customer service and they see a '+' sign in your email address, they completely freak out. You have to patiently explain the behaviour of the '+' sign. sigh

Also, a lot of website regex flat out refuse the '+' sign (to prevent duplicate accounts, I suppose).

            • @DoctorCalculon: Haha yeah, I've had that too. "OMG You have our company name in your email address!?! What-the?!"

I should point out though that the Gmail behaviour (text after the plus is arbitrary, can be used for filtering etc) is not part of the email standard. If you run your own email server it's perfectly fine to have an address like +?+Doctor+!+Calculon+#[email protected]

The form-related problems come from + (and some other characters) having a special meaning in URLs

Thanks. I wonder how well this washes. Pity we couldn't try the scented versions as well.

    • +3

Add a few essential oils and voilà, still non toxic and environmentally friendly but smells nice

  • Thanks OP. Can’t wait to try these.

  • -2

Is this liquid? Can someone explain please?

  • -1

    I’m guessing these are tablets?

  • have to show this to the wife… We have used soap nuts for years but this could be a good fall-back.

  • Not sure if my order went through? It just hung on the checkout screen after I hit pay and had filled in my details. Never got an email. But I tried to order again and got a warning message that the code can only be used once :/

    • +1

Sorry our email server has a really long queue sending order confirmation email. You will receive one shortly.

  • can i still put fabric softener?

    • sure. you can do that.

  • What does address compliment mean on checkout?

I am just a dumb bloke who only knows to put a scoop of washing powder into the machine when washing my clothes.
So basically, one sheet will replace my one scoop? Thanks.

    • +2

That's correct. No need to measure. Just one sheet per load. Put two if you are washing alot of dirty clothes =)

      • I'm very excited to try this! thanks. I just ordered for myself, and my Mother. I hope that's ok?

        • Sure. All good.

  • +1

Thank you for this. Just ordered one of each to try out. I am sure it will be great stuff. Paid with paypal. :)

    • And email confirmation received very quickly! Nice.

  • +1

Ordered! Excited about this. If it works well, keen on becoming a regular!

  • +2

    Is it

    MADE IN CHINA?

    Or

    MADE IN AUSTRALIA?

    • -5

      Who cares?

      • To each their own, mate.

    • +1

      Made in China

  • +2

Not sure if anyone noticed, but I have received a delivery slip in email which has some Chinese/ Asian text: https://imgur.com/IvpzI2F

OP, what's the company's connection with the country? Are the products manufactured in Australia or abroad? Just curious as I couldn't find any info on the website or internet either.

    • It must be a system glitch. We are an Australian owned and tax registered company based in Melbourne. We sell our EO water generator to Hong Kong due to its demand there.

      • +1

Fair enough. Where's the production facility for your products though OR where are they manufactured if the manufacturing is outsourced?

        • +5

There's a reason why the rep is avoiding your question

        • +1

          Received today. Made in China

  • “Spacewhite laundry sheets are free from phosphates, chemical dies, parabens, and chlorine bleach, and contain no animal products or derivatives. It is the safest laundry product in the market.

We designed and patented it in Australia. Manufactured in China.“

I have quoted above in full from a comment on a previous deal they have run on OzBargain.

I have no issues with where a product is made but always nice to know.

    • thank you.

      • +3

Any plans to shift production to Australia and support local? This factors into mine and many other people's decision making now.

        • We will. Once we have enough demand, we will open a Spacewhite factory in Australia. Unfortunately we don't have enough capital now to do that.

  • Thanks OP. Hope this works for my sensitive family.
Your bamboo paper towels look good. Any discounts? Similar to a Handee Ultra double length roll.
    Great work and great concept.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered one of each.

  • Just ordered a pack to try out. Excellent concept.

Do the ingredients contain UV/colour brighteners? I looked at the ingredients list and I can't tell.

    Thanks.

  • I just bought both offers thanks OP for the bargain, very keen to try.

  • Thank you, purchased.

After entering my cc details the site starts spinning with a green dot, not able to place the order

    • I had this trouble with Firefox Browser, but worked fine in Chrome.

      • I am trying in chrome, still not working

  • Wants to charge $13. Has offer run out?

    • +1

Worked for me just then. Did you put Coupon Code in?

      • Oh, silly me, I didn't! Have now and order gone through. Many thanks.

    • worked for me just now

  • Good offer and a convenient way to buy. I like the idea of just having it delivered and never having to go into the sensory-assaulting chemicals aisle at the supermarket again.

  • Ordered to try, thanks for posting.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered both to try them out.

  • Worked beautifully for me - thanks so much, super keen to try these as I have sensitive skin

    • you will love them =)

      • Hi Spacewhte. Does the non-scented sheets contain colour/UV brighteners?

      • Mine arrived yesterday, 1 of each to try, thankyou for posting. I will try on Sunday and let you know how they go. I average 1 load of washing per day, so should be able to suss out if any good.

      • If you use these laundry detergent sheets, I am guessing you should not place any powdered detergent within the pre-wash compartment (i.e. no pre-wash cycle)?
Also, what about fabric conditioners? Can they be used safely together with your laundry detergent sheets?

  • Both boxes Just arrived in the mail today.

Can't wait to do my next laundry load (Now there's a phrase I didn't think I would see myself saying :P)

  • I haven't received mine yet so hopefully won't be long. I am keen to try the products.

  • Tried mine today. 2 sheets in each wash. Doesn't suds up in the wash. Clothes smell clean

    • Hi, did you use these in a top of front loader?
I tried mine today and even though i placed them in before the clothes they ended up stuck to the top of the glass door and just turned into a really hard to remove goo ( used a knife to scrape off).
I'll definitely try them again but was pretty disappointed.
this try was front loader 60c standard wash

      • +1

yeah they don't really breakdown in the front loader

      • to prevent it sticking to the glass door, please put the laundry sheet in the drawer where you your laundry powder. It should solve the problem.

        • do we put it as is? is it gonna be dissolved in the laundry drawer?

      • Thanks for posting this, mine arrived and I was just wondering “what if…”

  • Mine haven’t arrived yet. Did anyone get a shipping notification or something? Haven’t received anything since placing the order.

    • Same as you. I initially received confirmation then nothing else. I ordered as soon as I saw the topic on ozbargain and am still waiting.

  • Got mine today did a full load with 2 sheets in a 8kg toploader. Perfect results. I have also cut up some sheets into quarters for hand washing our fabric face masks… much as I love smelling daisies…just not through my mask. Works great just wash in the hand sink and yes no smell. Five Stars…

    • great to hear. I was interested to read any feedback. Will be trialling mine tomorrow (wash day!).

  • Received mine today. I think a week D2D is very good under the current circumstance and given the level of subsidy on this marketing exercise.

Looking forward to testing them later in the week.

    Thank you

  • Mine arrived today! Great. I am using this week. Interested to hear how others are finding these products?

  • Still waiting for mine… nearly 2 weeks now

    • Same. Hasn't yet arrived

      • mine arrived today

  • How would this compare with OMO Laundry Liquid Triple Capsules?
    https://shop.coles.com.au/a/national/product/omo-laundry-liq…
(was on sale for $12 last week)

  • First time posting here. Can't find reviews of Spacewhite online. Was looking forward to using the Spacewhite sheets but disappointed that it doesn't dissolve completely. We wash with cold water. Will stick to liquid detergent. Also found some powder detergents don't dissolve but Spacewhite is worse. Perhaps it should be recommended for large top loaders with warm/hot water.

    • to prevent it sticking to the glass door, please put the spacewhite sheets in the drawer where you your laundry powder. It will dissolve properly.

  • I did a full load of 9kgs with three sheets in top loader, in general it looks alright but I find it isn’t that much clean especially for white shirts. I did another three washes with less load with two sheets, again not quite satisfied with the cleanness compared to Omo or Aldi product.
I think I use this to wash bedsheet, pillow cover, towel etc and use Omo for clothes.
    Any advice welcomes from Op.

    • So, what you are saying is, it is better to use this for like towels, pillows…, because it doesn't clean that much, but not good for clothes which you wear, not actually having them in your face? Don't know about you, but I'd prefer to not have clothes that much clean, rather than towels, etc.

  • Still waiting for mine…

    • Me too :(

    • Same :-( must be because I'm in Melbourne

  • +1

Tested it twice with different loads, clothes then towels in a top loader. Placed 2 sheets each time in the cartridge (just folded it and sort of pushed it in, bit awkward and was initially concerned if it'll dissolve. Left the inner lid up). After letting the water run, checked the cartridge 5 mins later and it was gone.

First load was mostly toddler clothing, not particularly dirty except for one sleeve had yellow curry stain which I had pre-treated it with di-san spray, and it was still there after wash. Otherwise, it seemed to have washed okay.

Second load was a few bath towels, 4 pillow cases, some tea towels and a utensil drying mat. It did a decent job of removing light stains, but it didn't remove odour from the tea towels.

Either it needs more sheets, or the compounds are too weak thus it'll be more costly in the long term. For comparison, I use quarter of a cup (not standard cup, one that was included so about 40ml?) of Dynamo liquid ($8/1L) for similar loads.

Even tho I got the unscented version, there was a mild citrus scent which I didn't mind.

  • I am still waiting for mine.

    • I emailed them last week and it arrived a few days ago.

  • Still waiting to receive mine in VIC. Contacted support & was told they would follow up with the warehouse. That was over 2 weeks ago

  • So many + votes, but a few reviews…

    • If you want an honest review: I found them to be too weak compared to OMO laundry powder or the ALDI equivalent.
The only thing going for them is that they are more environmentally friendly.

      • So, the conclusion is stick with the devil you know.

      • Haven’t tried Aldi equivalent, otherwise agree with you. Perhaps, the sheets have the same strength (?) as other env friendly laundry products.

  • I found if you place the sheet under you clothes in a front loader there is no problem with it dissolving. I only need one sheet in my towel load and they come out clean as a whistle. Very impressed with this product. Definitely recommend.
