15% off Antibacterial Copper Face Mask $42.50 + $7.50 Postage @ Copper Line

COPPER15

I had previously brought some Copper fabric masks from Copper Line Australia and receive an email about 15% off.

These are definitely not the cheapest masks getting around but they are comfortable to wear all day and look cool. The masks are washable and reusable upto 90+ times.

They are promoted to be antibacterial and copper is anti microbial. TGA approved.

The masks are genuine Copper Line masks from Korea. Ship out from Burwood in Melbourne.

Lots of colours and the sizes is as per their guide.
If you are between a small and medium go for a small and wash it. It will give a bit.

HEPA filters are available for extra and not on sale. But I don't recommend these as they can fall out easily when removing your mask for a drink, etc….

    Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Do these masks filter on inspiration and expiration? And are these really more effective than an N95?

    • Why don't you check the TGA certification ARTG number published on the site? Or the filtration test results also linked on the site?

Who said it was more effective than an N95? FYI it's KF80 so it filters 80% of particles at 0.3 micron.

It's expensive but it's way more effective than most of the masks being flogged on here.

If you're washing a reusable mask, the detergent will kill bacteria so…why even bother with the copper?

    • -3

Using your logic. If you wash your face with soap it will kill bacteria. So why even bother with a mask?

Don’t wear these during a lightning storm.

    • Or near a high voltage sub station.

  • antibacterial

Who should tell them about the difficult times we live in now?

  • I gotta say, there are some dubious claims being made…

ARTG registration means nothing. It just means someone has taken the time to fill in a form. It doesn't mean that it has been tested, or that the TGA approves of the results. It doesn't mean that it's quality is any good or that the TGA approves of it's quality.

I don't know why people even bother saying they have ARTG registration, except for marketing.

And registration is not equal to approval.

It's INCREDIBLY misleading where this site states boldly "ANTIBACTERIAL: TGA APPROVED". The TGA made no statement or claim or verification or test or anything that backs up that it's antibacterial. It made no approval of anything. It even says on the registration that "This is not an ARTG Certificate document.
The onus is on the reader to verify the current accuracy of the information on the document subsequent to the date shown"

The mask may be good quality, it may filter well, I don't know. But it's misleading and there is no proof that "Active Copper" in the threads is antibacterial. The claim is made since we know copper has anti microbial properties. One could also claim that a diamond infused mask would get me heaps of girlfriends, since "Diamonds are a girl's best friend". Besides, Covid is a virus, so "antibacterial" is not relevant.

      Intentionally, unfortunately.

We've become OZAdvertisement, and mods don't care much about it

    • Copperline here.

Some counter points on your argument.

      1. It may mean nothing to you - but the fact we registered a device on the TGA means everything we claim to do and say - we are accountable for. It does also mean we have been designated an ARTG number - after the fact we have sent test reports - which are available on our website if you bothered to look in the first place.

      2. To be able to receive an ARTG you must be willing to comply with regulation standards. The test pages are there for your perusal. Happy for you to not make an issue and do some research - all the information is there.

      3. The anti-bacterial claim for us has been tested. This doesn't mean we aren't actively testing against viruses. At least we don't have the gall to claim something in advance - that would be incredibly arrogant to our customers. We are just complying with advertising guidelines.

      4. The product we have is pretty top notch - and we have to thank OzBargain for being another place where people have found us. If you have any concerns - do send us an email - rather than debating here, we're open to your feedback on there.
