After repeated requests I've finally managed to secure a deal on another Xiaomi Smart Home sensor and this is a really special one. Priority shipping has also been made free and can be selected at checkout.

With this cube you're able to control your smart devices including lights, lamps, air purifiers and more by simply shaking the cube, moving it, rotating it 90 degrees or 180 degrees. Like other Xiaomi sensors it's using Zigbee making it compatible with other Zigbee hubs including Aqara, Xiaomi, SmartThings, Conbee and more.

As an example you could push the cube to turn lights on/off, rotate to adjust the brightness of the lamp, or tap twice to turn on the fan. There are many other possibilities.

  • Hi OP,

Any deals on the Yeelight downlights? https://www.geekbuying.com/item/Xiaomi-Mijia-Yeelight-YLSD01…

And are they in stock? They seem to be out of stock on Aliexpress

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi mate,
Is this Zigbee v3 or HA1.2?

    • +1

Zigbee 3.0 aqara devices.only just started coming out and their specs don't list it so I think it won't be. It is however listed by HA as being HA1.2 compatible.

      • thanks mate

  • +2

Sounds very interesting. Not sure how practical it is though.

    • +5

Very impractical. I've had one for about 4 years and rarely used it. Having to remember what action is bound for each of the 7 movements makes it impractical for other household members to use. Prefer the regular or zigbee switches.

      • Reminds me of those fricking magic cubes…internet connected.

    or just say:

    "Hey Google"
    - Turn on the lights
    - Turn up the brightness
    - Turn on the fan

    There are many other possibilities.

    • Hey google, + jv’s comment.

thanks for the discount on the hub been looking for it

  • I've been looking at getting a ZigBee gateway for a while to enable me to start getting in to sensor based automation.

I've got currently Google smart speaker and Alexa echo plus and a bunch of wifi devices and some ZigBee lights and power switches. I also wanted to stop relying on the internet connection and all these devices pinging back to dinner internet server.

I can tinker but I also would prefer a ready to go solution. Can anyone recommend a gateway , and is this a good one? Thanks in advance gang.
