well worth the download at 180mb but will only work on new generation iphones with 32gb or more. great freebie for all to enjoy… great graphics for the monster download and normally retails at $1.99

not sure how long the freebie is for.

        It's not the memory, but the fact that the 3rd gen 8gb ipod touch's were really just a rebadged 2nd gen Touch in hardware. Only the 32 and 64gb 3rd gens had the improved 3D graphics chip that will allow this game to play. 4th gen touch's should be fine, as would the iPhone 4 onwards I assume.

        Some incorrect info in the OP re: iPhones - The restriction of Gen 3 (32/64GB) applies to the IPOD, not the iPhone.

        The applications processor inside the 2nd generation iPod Touch runs slightly faster than the processor inside the iPhone 3G, but slower than the iPhone 3GS. That means that

        The 3rd Gen 8GB is simply a 2nd Gen with later firmware. It's probably not powerful enough to run this game, hence the warning.

        However, the 3rd Gen 32 GB and 64 GB models include the upgraded RAM, CPU (ARM Cortex-A8 core) and GPU (PowerVR SGX535 GPU) internals from the iPhone 3GS. So effectively, an iPhone 3GS has the same guts as a iPod 3rd Gen.

    confirmed…. deal has EXPIRED. there's a "free" version, but the full game is no longer free.
