  • Feedback not great….

Seems to be couple vine reviews where they got it free!
I saw one bad Amazon review from someone who couldn't read instructions…

      • Lol. Saw that too.

      • and one review from an idiot who thinks using pressure washer to wash the car eliminates the need to use a sponge or wash mitt.

        • Hahahhhaah..too funny.

        • Technically if you hold it in one spot long enough, it would remove everything.

Bought for around $190 from Supercheap, have had it for around 4 months. Going great so far.

    • Dont know. Got the Bosch one as I was eyeing for one for a while.

  • -5

    Nothing high pressure about 1820psi

    • Can you elaborate? Just purchased and now contemplating whether to cancel..

      • All depends on what you intend to use it for.

Well from own experience (spraying things down like tractors the family farm, pressure washing moss off bricks, cleaning weatherboard etc) 2400 psi is about the bare minimum for that kind of cleaning.

3000psi will get you through just about anything. PSI is only one factor though, flow rate (Litres/min) is just as important if you're wanting to clean stuff properly. You want something that is AT LEAST 10L/min imo, and even that might not be enough. (i'd be looking at 3k/15L minimum for moderate home use)

At the end of the day if all you're doing is cleaning a bit of dirt off your car wheels or pushing some sand off your paving then this will do the job fine. "Cleaning" what the dirt leaves behind (stains, soils, marks) is much harder though, and low psi/flowrate units probably won't cut it

You're not going to get an effective 'power-cleaning', high pressure washer unless it's petrol powered tbh. Most electric washers cap out below 3k, and the ones that get close are 100's of dollars more that their petrol equivalent BUT the petrols stink, they need servicing, they're loud, heavy etc….

My advice: Honestly, just rent a petrol one when specific home jobs come up (like driveways, heavy duty cleaning etc) $40-60 a day, once every few years is better than purchasing and storage imo.

care to elaborate? what would be high pressure? what pressure to car washes operate at?

      • +2

ignore what he said. virtually any pressure washer will be more than sufficent for washing the car.
you only really need a high powered one if you intend on using it for more heavy duty tasks such as cleaning the driveway.

    PSI (Pounds per square inch)

Every job requires a certain pressure to shift whatever it is that needs shifting.

•Under 1,000 PSI: Very low power pressure washers, are considered residential grade. These are ok for occasional use around the home and when time isn’t a major factor.

•1000-2000 PSI: Good for light cleaning jobs or where the surface to be cleaned is soft and easily damaged. This pressure range is good for cleaning decks and paths and for light duty auto cleaning.

•2,000 to 3,000 PSI: The most common range for commercial pressure washers. Good for cleaning concrete surfaces with light to moderate oil stains, most automotive cleaning, pools and many industrial applications.

•3,000 to 6,000 PSI: Heavy industrial machinery and agricultural uses. Heavy grease and oil stains. These machines have the power to strip paint from metal surfaces.

Was looking for a Pressure washer for my car and Driveway. Karcher has the worst review so didnt even bother looking into it, Good thing this comes with a snow gun. hopefully will be a good buy :)

    • +1

Actually quite disapoinintg that the kärcher quality is or must have become that bad. Beeing from the kärcher motherland I do recall that our pressure washers have been kärcher only as they were the market leaders by miles 🙄 looks like I will have to rethink my next purchase

      • +1

This surprises me as well, being from a neighbouring country. For me Kärcher was always a no-brainer brand like Bosch, Miele, etc.

        • Yea Bosch also disappointed us 5..6 years ago when we bought "German" appliances which.. As we found out afterwards we're produced in Turkey or Philippines and had nothing in terms of quality

          • @Olli: need to do more research imo.
not sure about karcher series, but my washing machines, heat pump dryer, dishwashers (amongst other bosch appliances) are made in Germany still. (they are purchased between 2013-2019, so its not like they abandoned making them recently)

as a general guideline, the price point is quite telling.

    Hi guys
Those who brought the pressure like me can buy a Bosch Pressure Washer Car Care Kit from Superchrap auto. It is in clearence for 39 dollors which comes with 6 m extension hose, cleaning brush, foam dispenser, Microfiber and a angled hose tip. Here is the link
    https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/bosch-bosch-pressure-was…

And it will be appropriate if someone post it on deals as I have not post any deals yet and don't know how to do.

    • Thanks. Doesn’t this deal come with those items? I may be wrong

      • +3

No. This is extra assoceries. The soap dispenser is the only that is also come with the pressure washer. But the 6 m hose cost 28 dollors alone and you will have all together 11 m so you can wash car without moving the pressure washer. The cleaning brush, angled nozzle, and microfiber are also included in the kit. This car kit cost around 80 all together but it is half the price as it is in clearence.
These items we get with the pressure washer
