    in previous topic about this phone
    someone mention this website for unlocking
    and they said it will cost us $25

    but just 1 or 2 confirmed, so i'm not sure it work well or not

    another also say you can call customer service and say u must to go to oversea,and they will unlock free for u
    but it just worked with someone else, it didnt work for me, when i called they said i need pay $80
    how sad

    yeap rather hard
    got one from kmart - called optus and they insisted it cannot be unlocked unless u use (or load, not entirely certain on that) $80 credit, or 6 months. this is despite me being on an optus plan.

    bought an imei code from one of those sites on the net instead

  I suppose we can expect this to drop below $200 by this time next year. Might consider the upgrade then to make up for the fact that I paid $299 for this as my best friend's xmas pressie.
