  • Strange that Amazon has flagged this explicitly to be sold to 18+.

Not for sale to persons under the age of 18. By placing an order for this product, you declare that you are 18 years of age or over. This item must be used responsibly and appropriately.

I get this is Lego's target market, but why would Amazon forbid this for under 18s?

    • It would probably be an automatic thing because this one's for adult builder which is 18+

$676 to build all four Beatles portraits (by buying four of the same set).

I mean it'll look more complete but, oh my.

    • Yeah I noticed that too - bloody dodgy… would it kill them to include enough dots / backing boards to make all the images in the one kit? Oh wait, why do that when they can only include one set, then squeeze more $$$ out of fans who want to make all of them.

        squeeze more $$$

Makes sense in a thugonomic economic way.

After all, it would look odd to only have a single portrait on your wall (even worse if it's Ringo).

        :P

Dots on a backing board. Go learn cross stitch..

Seriously, I've 100% avoided Lepin etc as I think lego designers have earnt the premium. But in this case I think I'd actually recommend Lepin. 3 or 4 of these shouldn't be more than $100 total.
