FYI, you cannot get $50 cash back with GG commercial.

    Fine print says :

    ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION
    3. Cash Back Offer is only open to individuals who are Australian residents 18 years and above (“Claimant”) who submit a Claim during the Promotional Period. Corporations, companies, body corporate bodies, groups, organisations and any other corporate bodies and non-corporate bodies are not eligible to participate.

I also called and check with cash back Philips team and they said GG commercial is not eligible for cash back campaign. Please double check again before you purchase and hoping to get $50 cash back on top. :)

    • I can confirm that I have successfully redeemed the cash back last week.
      Thanks

Wow!!! That’s good. I guess just do the cash back they won’t really check which GG DEP it is anyway. But that’s what I was told o on the phone. I should have bought the item & give it a go anyway 😂. Thanks for clarifying that btw

        • YMMV. Customer on the invoice is the commercial entity, with the delivery name/address of the member.

      • I guess it comes down to the person scrutinising the receipt. Ive had a cash back claim rejected from Breville because it was GG Commercial.

      • May I ask how long it took to deliver the airfryer to you ? I live in Vic and I'm not sure if I order today whether it will arrive before 6 Sep as the cashback finishes on 6 Sep.

          I picked up from a QLD store ( C & C )
          Thanks

  • I'm on the fence about buying an air fryer. Are they any good for cooking other things besides mainly frozen stuff (chips, pies, sausage rolls, etc)?

    • We've cooked a few decent pork roasts in ours, the crackling turns out really well (better than our shitty oven)

      • Really, it works? That sounds great. Do you have a link to an air fryer recipe for roast pork?

    • It's like an elite microwave

    • Only way we cook lamb chops these days
Also good for left over pizza

      • Is there a link to a recipe for air fryer lamb chops?

Both model specifications are pretty much the same except for the one at Costco (HD 9651) comes with free double layer accessories.

      • Does this model qualify for $50 cashback?

  • I registered for that salary benefits but never got a GGC account email :(

Just get one from K-Mart for about $59 I think. Just as good.

    • +1

"just as good" not sure about this one.

      • -1

As far as cooking ability goes they do. Can't see that the Philips does anything different than the K-Mart one apart from the ability to keep your food warm for 30 minutes. That's certainly not worth the extra hundreds you'll be paying.

        • +1

Unlike most, the Philips one doesn't need flipping

    • I got the $69 Kmart one, the non-stick coat became very rough and almost impossible to clean sticky food after 45 days. Haven't used it since. Also it's a bit too small for family use. Friends got a Philips air-fryer and we love it, so I'm considering buying one now.

      • I can't say much about the cheaper K mart brands but i do highly recommend the Phillps branded one.

I had the old model XL for 6 years and used it almost every day before it died, so i can say its had a very good work out before it kicked the bucket.
