I know this was posted back in MAY but then they were out of srock, but its back on again, as i have recently purchased a blu-ray player i have been looking around and the cheapest i could find for the godfather was $69 from Kmart/BigW/JBHIFI. As for Lord of the rings JB has is for $85.99

Works out alot better when with free postage so if you can manage to find yourself another bargain i suggest doing so.

    Well … the REAL aficionados will want the EXTENDED edition, not the theatrical version. Other than that, great prices!

    Last time I ordered the trilogy pack from Amazon UK, DVDs came as ordered which was fine. But it was region locked, so I had to switch the region on my DVD player just to play it.

    Then when I tried to put in the first DVD (fellowship) the DVD didnt work… just kept spinning and making noises. The other two worked but kind of defeated the purpose as its a three party story…

      This is for Blu-rays. Which will work in our region.
      That said, I think the bonus DVDs will be region locked.

      I am puzzled why you would neg this post….. particularly as you are talking about a completely different product.
      Have you found these blu rays at a cheaper price?, or are you informing us that these blu rays are a poor product?, or that the retailer is shonky?

    NOT a deal. the normal price has been 13.99 ever since the extended edition got released so the price has actually RISEN. i've actually been waiting for months to see if it went lower

    I can't get Amazon UK to ship to my Australian address. In the end it turned out to be a blessing as I got the products I was after elsewhere cheaper and with free shipping anyway.

    yes, but you have to change the region of the player, which the mbp only lets you do a limited number of times (5?)
