Why was it pulled?
The publisher broke their contract and did not pay royalties. Switch was the only platform where the developer self published. The only way to clear it all up now is to pull all the publisher editions of the game and then replace them later with developer editions, because the publisher isn't going to pay royalties on copies sold in the meantime.

It's still available on all those platforms.
For PC you can get it from Frogwares website directly or Origin.
Xbox and PS from EB Games or JB Hifi (or pretty much anywhere else that sells physical copies), Xbox is still selling digital copies.
They only had it removed from places where Bigben/Nacon were distributing the game, i.e. Steam & Epic (I don't know if it was on GoG). Right now Frogwares is taking control of distribution until they can resolve the dispute & bring it back to Steam, Epic & wherever else Nacon screwed them over.
How is the game?
It’s apparently faithful to the source, so a bit more racism than you’re used to in Lovecraft adaptations.

After looking at the PS4 Vs switch comparison, yer the PS4 looks loads better
Was gonna wait for a physical version but decided to snag the Deluxe Edition at that price since it was good enough to warrant it and to support the developers after how they were treated poorly by the publisher.
It might not run or look as good as the other platforms but love the Switch so much, I can't say no.
