Does referring friends actually give you extra entries? Decided to check my points on Robborock website after Inumbris used my link — I should have received an extra 100 points, but my tally is still 201 points which is what it was when I completed all but one of the tasks (I don't use Twitter) … I think the referral system may be a scam
I have often wondered this myself due to the Gleam referrals never putting a tick in the box even though people say they have used my referral links…..
I don’t think we can ever know though, it’s just one of the many shady/grey area things about these buying user data and social media clout competitions.
Won’t stop me trying though. :-/

@capslock janitor: I've just created a gMail account and always use that when supplying email for comps - so all of the "spam" goes there - if I really want to subscribe to their email list, I use my real email address. I've been caught out a couple of times when mobile number is required (supposedly to notify winners) but really so their sales people can call you - but thankfully don't get a lot of calls.
I think the person referred may have to verify their email.
