  • is this a misprint ? if not great deal imo

  • -1

Delivery not available and only a single unit of each left in Victoria (in which I suspect is a mistake).

  • stock information from HT sites:
WD - Fyshwick (ACT): 1 unit in stock
HP - Hawthorn (VIC): 1 unit in stock

It is a good price if you can get it, probably clearance one.

    • 0 unit for VIC now :)

Fyshwick (ACT): 1 unit in stock

  • $24 for a 1TB hdd? That a bargain isn't it?

    • NOPE - might as well be $1… or free… because there is ZERO stock.

  • Ordered one but don't really care if it's a mistake and I get my money back

    • Its only pickup according to the website. Delivery is not available.

not a deal when u cant get it

Yeah same, not a deal when there is not stock

  • LOL there's like 1 unit available in the whole country……….

So you got the bargain and negged the post that gave it to you! Weird

  • Booked the 1tb drive sitting in Fyshwick. Thanks:).

    • Is there an Officeworks nearby? :p

    • +1

looks like PLAZ74 already bought it.

Yes there is a OW in fyshwick but Officeworks will not pricematch for limited/clearance stock

    • hope you got a confirmation for that fyshwick one… because i ordered one about 10min after this deal was published :).

  • I just made the order and received an confirmation email from them?! Quite surprised that there are stocks available!?!

i'm buying some popcorn for the sob stories tomorrow :)

    • meh… if they knock it back so be it, but for $24 (less coles discount) you cant go wrong really :).

big plus vote to OP for posting.

  • you have to know the rules mate. no bargain for just 1 item

    no stock, no deal

If I'm not mistaken, the 1.5TB for $48 is a good price. Noticing the increasing price of HDD.

  • No stock. No deal. A waste of time for 99%+!

  • made you look! LOL

Oh well was worth a try. Should I retract my + vote?:)

    • Did you place this order through the website or phone?

      • +1

yep, i got this email too (ordered online).

i ordered one of the fyshwick ones about 10min after this deal was published, so i've had to revoke my plus vote… no where near enough stock to be considered a real bargain.

didnt have high hopes in the first place because afterall all it is Harris Technology, but hey… it was worth a shot.

        • Yeah true, its always worth a shot!

  • seriously, wish people would take some time to look before they post items that are not on special and a clearence item

    • ??

but it was on special and it was a clearance item (albeit very limited quantities that no one has seemed to be able to purchase). i dont get what youre saying.

Thanks for the post sukhy!! Went to the ht website and yep, the WD one was sold out. But right next to it, under storage clearance I found the LaCie external hard drive 1TB for $28! Seems like most folks were too busy bitchin' to notice it. :) And there were plenty - I ended up buying 4 for me and friends (same postage!). Not as good as a WD for $24 but I'm still very happy. Thanks mate. I originally went for the 1.5tb for $48, but the LaCie was the better deal imho.

EDIT: it seems to be gone by now. Just checked.
