Victoria Bitter - VB Thirst EDT 75ml $19.99 (Was $24.99) + $8.95 Shipping (Free over $50 or C&C/Instore) @ Chemist Warehouse

230

Okay, this time it's a genuine deal. Plus, it seems to be getting the odd favourable review on the CW web site as well, so I guess it's not just a joke (mind you, one reviewer called it a 'novelty' scent…).

Combine it with 10% off tomorrow only (props to tightarse for that one!) and you'll only pay $17.99. I might even seek it out at my local CW tomorrow just to see what it actually smells like. Who knows? I might not find it to be as unappealing as I find the beer is.

  • Might want to add that this is a preorder. Price is really decent considering resellers are charging $50+ to people who genuinely want to buy it

VB gets paid out… and yeah its got a strong flavour. But on a hot summer day one ice cold VB is bloody awesome! I can't drink more than one or two- then I move back to my regular.

But I swear to god I think all those ads when I was younger have programmed me into enjoying one only when I'm sweating or working hard as F in the garden :).
Whether you're taking a vow, or feeding a cow…. matter of fact I got it now!!!

But on a hot summer day one ice cold VB is bloody awesome!

Back in December when it was 42 in Melbourne, a VB was the best thing I'd ever had by the afternoon. Could have easily downed one at 9am when it was already 38. I imagine this summer will be the same.

Growing up watching those ads (and the Solo man ones) I honestly thought that’s how you drank a beer. I used to tip my head back and glug down until the can was empty. Quite the way to get a head on with the first drink.

        +1 for Solo man!

every time i walk through a cobweb i feel like slamming down a Solo

Your god dam right! If you dont enjoy a ice cold VB then your not a beer drinker in my book. You gotta appreciate its strong ruff flavour. It is a high % nectar for men. There is much more enjoyable flavoured better beers yes. There is cheaper beers yes again. But for the flavour/price/potency you have to credit it. Tbh a few vbs knock you around as much or more then a few 7% nice IPAs for some reason and its half the price…. People who don't respect the vb aren't beer lovers.

Or they just have tastebuds. I'll let the community decide :D

Not available online (Pre orders $24.99 plus $5 postage) and can’t find any stores that stock it except in Darwin..click and collect only no delivery..low stock..
Anyone had luck finding in store cause it seems an unachievable deal?

    • Well, fancy that…last time I looked there was actually stock available. People have actually been buying it, I guess. There's none in-store around Launceston, I haven't checked further afield anywhere else in Tassie, though.

      • Sold out in Darwin too. Don’t think it’s available anywhere.

  • My husband need this! Thanks
