Too big for my apartment but this might suit someone else here.

Delivery is free if you have Prime, otherwise add $214!

Shipping is from UK so presumably you will need a plug adapter (but not a transformer).

$499 @ Total Tools.

  • This saw is already a bargain @ $499
Lots of reviews out there, very good for advanced DIY use

  • How does the warranty work considering it is uk import.

  • Yeah I'm after one as well but sceptical in regards to warranty. I'm hoping Bunnings will drop a price on one of theirs for father's Day!

  • I've got one of these from total tools , best drop saw I've ever owned..

    • +5

      What have you owned?

      • +1

This drops saw and the rage5s table saw

        • +1

Apologies I always say drop saw, ok compound litre saw

  • Need a decent table saw :(

    • It seems unfortunately there is a huge jump in quality between affordable and expensive :(

    • I've got the Evolution Rage5S…been pretty good for me thus far…just DIY use and hasn't missed a beat…only change was the new blade that I added. Bought it from Total Tools for $549 about 6 months back, but I see it's now priced at $599.

  • I read a small number of Amazon reviews and came up with this list of issues:

Laser easy to knock out of alignment. Hard (one person said impossible) to realign
Laser too weak so is actually useless unless you want to cut in the dark…(dangerous)
Clamps possibly no good (possibly ok if not overtightened?)
    Dust extraction is useless
Soft start (i prefer it, some may not)

  • Isn't this the same brand that Total Tools do a $50 circular saw by?

  • these are good for cutting steel , its a cold cut saw, the blade is multi use.
I have the green model and use it to cut steel

    • Really intrigued by the ability to cut steel, I would find that so weird the first time I did it.

How does the blade stand up? Could you turn around and cut clean mitres in architrave afterwards?

      • +1

im not too sure about that, however if you look up cold cut saws on youtube you will see how much better they are then those large grinder type cut off saws.
Cuts tube steel with ease and the blade holds up. I also cut a few 1/4 inch thick steel

        • Cheers, thanks.

  • I sooo wanted this last month, ended up getting the cRyobi for $300 :(

  • "3 years limited warranty (only valid if purchased in the UK)"

  • +1

    Now $296.08.

    • Was $297.14 when I pulled the trigger earlier this morning, I better keep an eye on the price.

      • but says "+ $213.92" for delivery!

        • Looks like I'm getting some value out of my Prime membership 😋

        • +1

Ah yes, apparently now "Not eligible for Amazon Prime". Despite still being shipped and sold by Amazon UK, not a 3rd party seller.

    • I bought 2 days ago for $358 :0

  • +1

    Yes price dropped significantly.
I had a Chat with amazon Australia and I was instructed that there is no refund for global store.
However, I could return this and bought the cheaper item instead.
That is so ridiculous. I have not received the previous order yet but file for a return :).
