    Mega Raid = Waste of money and time.

    Minimum of 4 raids (~$4) for a 4 hours mega evolution..

        well yeah…thats exactly how megas are in the games/series.. "temporary"

        Currently their primary use is for those who do mass raiding.
        I am sure there will be more uses later on, but its early days since their release.

          You’re right that Megas are temporary in the series, however the series doesn’t make you pay a currency to re-megavolve your Pokémon.

          You get a Mega bracelet or whatever it was and you could use it any time in battle. Pokémon Go is just cashing in on another money grab

            @Zythyx: Well you dont have to spend money. You have the option to.
            You get 50? free coins a day from gyms if you hold them the full time as well as 20 for doing the daily tasks.
            Then there is the free raid pass per day.

            The game has no upfront cost like the other games and it is actively worked on+has upkeep costs for servers.
            Of course stuff isn't going to just be free.

            Not sure what you expect from a free mobile game.

            You're expecting the same stuff from a game that costs $60 and has no upkeep costs but in a free mobile game.

        I recall seeing that it's 241 days of free raid assuming your killing the raid in the fastest time to get most mega energy.

          There's four currently available Mega's in raids if you count both Charizards. That's a total of 800 energy needed to evolve them each once. You only need 16 raids in total if you get 50 energy from each one. So 13 days worth of your free passes, plus the three 1 coin remote passes, less any premium raid passes you have left over from previous events.

          241 days is wildly over calculated figure.

    Do android phones support friends invites and gifts?
    I can't seem to find the friends tab .

      Yup and there's crossplay support with ios.
      Need to click on your character's face, which will bring up your stats, then you need to tap friends tab at the top.

      Sometimes it disappears on android, restart the app and it should reappear on the right of the profile page

    Another 3 remote raid pass for 1 coin bundle coming on Sept 10 so in order to claim/buy any 3 remote raid passes you can only hold 2 or less remote raid passes in your item bag, you want to burn some remote raid passes before the 2nd bundle arrives.
