Was looking for a massage gun ever since 99% of us missed out on the Aldi sale recently.

Thought I'd check out the 21% off ebay sale today and saw that there was a small, compact massage gun by FeiyuTech - normally well known for gimbal technology, e.t.c.

eBay had it for $144.99 - 21% which was still $114.50 with eBay plus.

Searched elsewhere on the net, and cheapest place was still mobile Citi online for $129.

So Amazon AU having it for $98.99 (free shipping) was quite a bargain.

    Those accessories look interesting…

    • Obligatory tee-hee. But:

The hooked attachment is good for adjustments/loosening tendons, I use it on my IT Band after core/squat heavy sessions.
The bullet tip is good for tricky isolated zones, I've used it to get relief in tricky spots on the foot, specifically on muscles around the cuboid which can be hard to pinpoint with the wider attachments
The flat tip is good for wide impacts, feels great on the back. On slower settings it's a bit like being slapped by a toddler with anger issues.

Source: Same attachments in my cheapo impact gun

  • does anyone really use it for massage?

That's the only thing I use mine for. I use my F**KMaster 4000 for the other thing.

Currently there are like 1000 brands of this in the market, and no one knows which one is good.

    • that's why I thought I'd take the punt on this one! Amazon has easy returns if it's shit!

xiaomi has a new mini released recently. Looks similar

  • Been looking at getting one, however at this price, wouldn't a more known brand with a bricks and mortars store be a better deal:
    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/homedics-sports-recovery-mas…

    • For us Victorians, there's not much difference between Brick & motar Vs Amazon. Can't visit either. In fact I rather the easy returns with Amazon.

Also, the fact the Feiyutech Kica is USB-C charged is a big plus for me.

Homedics is an average brand at best

  • These have a pretty decent markup.
Good quality units are about $60 in China. I'ld expect prices to continue dropping.

  • The name of the brand sounds like "F U Tech" Isn't this is similar to the one they sell at K-Mart?

  • Bought one to test it out.

Recently bought this one from Amazon but due to product from US and charger as well, there's a included adapter but charger seem to having issue with charging the massage gun.

Charged for 20hrs+ and only 2 bars and requested a return from Amazon without any issue.

  • Oh boy.. I only just caught my breath after following the Amazon link. Those pictures - priceless.
.. and don't forget the big selling point : One-Button Operation — Equipped with only one button at the bottom of the handle to prevent accidental contact, super easy to control all operations by one button.

I just hope it comes with an instruction manual.

i have this, exatct same but different brand/logo, from aliexpress months ago around $80-85 delivered
previously got the usual design big bulky gun unbranded but looks like phoneix copy and noisy - bought around $50-60

    this one:
small, fit in lady's bag for sure. light weight, cool looks, all metal, cold to touch metal, fast charging with USB C (most others using bulkly ac adapter)
quiet but powerful enough, doesn't look and feel cheap at all
battery last long. mine says Samsung cell.
i bought the carry case too special designed for it for extra $8, very good material and looks, you will think something worth $300 inside it.

the only thing i am not sure: what is its Amplitude, i guess quiet low comparing with $200 unit ?

if you dont have this kind of tools you may laugh at this but once you have it you will appreciate and (quiet) amazed of its usefulness and functions
ofcourse maybe not for those cheapo $50 machines
now I'm considering to get $300 real deal machines

    edit:
found mine (same brand but not sure if just rebranding from same factory as this on the post)

    • Thanks for the detailed comparison.

Hard to say what differences are internally.

All I know is that I posted this deal today as I know FeiyuTech is a reliable tech brand.

      • but to be honest i wish i just skip this middle range price and get one top of the range $300 and get done with it knowing i am using best in the market

        • What would you consider around that $300 price? I saw these cheapies then the Theraguns for $500+.

          • @Jase83: hmm probably something like theraguns when on special :)

      • I just got mine… and it's great! Enough power, feels good… not sure how long it'll last but pleased I bought. Thanks OP!
