I sold mine cause i couldnt get my Nvidia Shield pro 2019 to work on the Wifi 5ghz band. It would connect but there would be very limited data transfer. I tried different channels on 5ghz but didnt fix the issue. All my other devices connected with no problem.
I went back to my older Synology router and everything works perfectly. Def miss the IDS/IPS functionality of the UDM but will wait for the next version of the UDM before I purchase again.
Huh, my shield has been rock-solid on 5ghz wifi with my UDM.
Damn my luck! I really liked the UDM. Is yours the nvidia shield pro 2019 version?
Ah no, it's the previous version. I wasn't aware the hardware changed that much but I guess it only takes something small to trip things up

After the first one I bought wouldn't complete the setup and was exchanged, I've been absolutely happy with mine.
I upgraded to UDM, got a couple of switches and APLR. Seems fine to me.
My gripe is it seems that my Pixel 4XL is using a shedload of data.If you're measuring your P4XL usage from DPI stats on the UDM, don't worry. Seems to be better in the latest beta firmwares and controller

Yeah I wouldn't trust the stats in the controller, mine are way off as well!
As someone who has used Unifi and Ubiquiti for more than a decade I'm pretty unhappy with the UDM I bought a couple of months ago. I'd call it flakey and half baked. It is great hardware but it's lacking so many things you can do easily with a much cheaper EdgeRouterX (DNS, VPN), a USG can do the security stuff much better and be extended by direct JSON configuration, while the much cheaper native pfSense options just keep getting better.
I keep alternating between wanting to sell it of and get something else and waiting for Unifi to finally get the software up to a usable level.
Great price though ;)
