Location: Canterbury

The price looked suspicious at first. I took a "risk", bought a coupon, went there this morning and got my car checked in about 15 mins.
Result: No issues found - got my e-Check submitted to RMS NSW (former RTA).

Normal price for e-safety check there is $29 by the way, which is also competitive.
Groupon deal sounds like a bargain.

*LPG System check not included

Don't forget about cashback via shopback or cashrewards - whichever has a better deal at the time of shopping.

Cheaper than throwing a slab of beer at the mechanic

    • Does the slab of beer work?

    What's included:

How is this "(Up to $150 Value)"?

    • This is nonsense, agree 😂

Looks like they have a great Google review score of 4.8 over 122 reviews.

    • This seems to be true

Please put Canterbury in the description - might not be close for all Sydney siders.

From personal experience: NRMA (road service arm) is pretty good.

    • Done. Thanks.

    • yes, it's really just a matter of how much your individual mechanic will try and up sell you, after that.

Most places in Sydney charge $42 for pink slip. Just got my pink slip done last week.

When I tried to call they mobile advertised on Groupon to make a booking it auto responded with SMS and a landline number. Unsuccessfully tried to call landline multiple times at different time of the day (they seem very busy), then gave up and decided to walk in before they closed (8pm) and made an appointment for 8am next day.
I guess they prefer less busy time and can't do after 5pm as RMS system shuts down at 5pm.

Bought one, they weren’t picking up the calls at the cell number mentioned, but got a return SMS after a few tries. Called up that number listed in, and was asked To come at 8:30 in the morning. Went there, they did a lights check, and took the car for a spin and pink slip e-filed in 10 minutes. Thanks OP for the deal.
