V for Vendetta or for Victory lol. I prefer Mother though. But still the best price for V I've ever seen.

Thats rubbish, you can get em for $4.14 when the supermarkets are in a good mood.

Wow, guess I picked a really bad time to post the specials then :(

Was at Broadway shopping centre today.

Saw the staff from Harris Farm stocking up Connoisseur Ice Cream bought from coles upstairs.

    Must be a good buy!

I see they changed the date of when items goes on sale…it used to be every Thursday but now sales starts every Wednesday

    • +2

Yep, both at the same time now.

was gonna post the V deal last night, great price

  • +1

The deal on Chips Ahoy didn't even make this list…. That's the problem with a top 20…

  • -2

hmmm…strange that every comment has got at least a +1 vote

  • -7

Same reason as Woolworth one, pointless.

    • Just skip the deal if it doesn't suit you. It saves me time scanning the catalogue so it's useful to me at least.

  • +1

Will you be posting grocery specials from ALDI/IGA/Franklins/others in future and will you be visiting the idea of posting all catalogue specials from other retailers? Good luck!

    • +1

I don't think IGA is possible because they vary sometimes from store to store, being a franchise as opposed to a supermarket chain.

  • +2

I would vote negative if I had catalogues delivered on time.
Unfortunately, those delivery people just do not care about what they do.
I've submitted complaints 4 or 5 times, and then I got catalogues for a couple of weeks.
    Then they get slack again.
They just do not care. Every time I have to deal ith them I've got a deja vu of living in one of socialist countries in Eastern Europe where noone cared to do their job properly.

So, definitely +1 vote for an excellent job.

  • Not sure about the coke speacial, cataloge on on the coles and woolies site has them at $36 or $38 for 2 boxes

    • SA prices are always dearer because of the container deposit.
So you get slugged an extra 10c for every can, hence the $6 premium.

      • Yeah, here in SA we are very special.
We do care about so unimportant things as 10c deposits per can, and do not care about really important ones, as if you compare our and let's say NSW legislation, ours has huge holes and huge potential for misuse and/or misinterpreting.

Not normally a coles shopper but the great deal on supercoat dog food saw me pick up 24 kilos of it (3 bags) for the same price as the 18kilo bag at my local pet store. Combine this with the weekly grocery shop (including peanut butter and coke on special) meant i spent enough to qualify for this weekend's 15c/l petrol discount voucher…..

thanks to Oz bargain. I'm a newbie, and now I'm hooked. (oh, and btw - same thing here with the catalogue delivery - hit and miss as to whether i see any junk mail in my letterbox - so big thanks for the heads up here online.)

  • 180g Sirena Tuna cans $2 (Usually $3.89) at Eltham Coles, assuming that is everywhere. Why is that not in this list? MASSIVE BARGAIN!!!!!
