                @[Deactivated]: The point here is that it is a long running deal and I believe there is meant to be 6 or maybe it is 12 months before long running deals can be posted again.

                I’m happy to be shown I’m wrong, if the community agree this is a valid deal then that’s fine by me.

                I’m not intending to be a dick or anything here, just pointing out that these things have already been posted.

                  @WeiKaiLe: I've watched Ozbargain get spammed by cashreward "deals" which almost never seem to work properly (looking at those Amazon ones) offering some terrible discounts/savings, yet isn't the cashrewards stuff a long running deal? Yet somehow TA always seems to manage 300+ votes for some of the crappiest savings I've seen every time he/she posts one of these long running cashrewards deals that most of us were already notified about through our cashrewards sub.

                  This post offers a saving for that certain group who want Flight Sim, I know of at least 4 people who went for the recent Ultimate Pass deal specifically to play Flight Sim but would've prefered this deal. I think you may be coming down a little hard on this post.

      "Ultimate" gives both PC & Xbox for $1 for the first month when you join but is $15.95 after that. Although Xbox release of FS 2020 is not expected until early 2021.

    Why was my post edited to remove mention of Flight Simulator, the whole point of my post is you can play a latest release $100 title for a month for $1. I also can't understand the hostility from people in the comments because someone shared the deal 2 months ago before flight sim came out.

    I just wanted to share a bargain and give back to the community but will stick to reading idiot forum posts from now on and no longer wondering if the community is really that stupid or if we are being trolled. Looks like it's not just stupid but hostile as well.

      Please note that there are two or three different products that seem to share the same name. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is for XBOX + PC, while this lower priced subscription does not confer benefits to XBOX, only for PC and is the Beta version.

        I'll iterate my earlier reply, my post succinctly demonstrated you are able to play a latest release $100 title for a month for $1. Previous to this you had to infer this from two separate posts made two months ago. Maybe i'm the hostile idiot here, but I can't understand why removing Flight Simulator and $1 for a month is a benefit to the community?

          Please don't take my reply as hostile, I really am not intending to be and sorry if I'm coming across that way,

          My thinking here is that by your approach, you could effectively then post a deal for every single game on the Game Pass list individually along with the fact it can be played for $1 for new subscribers.

          Microsoft will be releasing all their Microsoft Studios games to Game Pass and so there will be more $100 titles to come. Normally this is covered by people posting that the games are being added to Game Pass and then in the comments people tend to remind everyone that there is an ongoing $1 first month deal.

I've had my eye on FS for a while but didn't want to bite the bullet and pay $100 and then found this through a friend, I didn't post the deal for internet points. If the post is going to be left up why not include 2 or 3 large titles in the heading so people who aren't familiar with game pass know what they are getting? w/e you can run your site however you like.

      cancel your subscription after signing up, then let it lapse… usually you can sign up for $1 again…

      The promotional period of this $1 for the first month has been long running, I don't think anyone knows when it will end. It may be they will always allow $1 for the first month similar to how other subscription services offer a free first month.

    I was disheartened by the state of gaming when Forza 4 had loading screens, menu dialogs and locations on the map showcasing DLC that cost extra money to purchase, the same thing with Marvel vs Capcom where the DLC characters were on the character select screen from the get-go.

    There’s nothing wrong with DLC if it’s in addition to what the game comes with but having it already on my hard drive locked behind a credit card screen when I’m getting the game as part of a subscription (not even owning the game) kind of sucks.

      DLC is usually not included with Game Pass unless it's an ultimate edition (or equivalent) of the game that is the version on Game Pass. Can't really complain when you look at the amount of value you get from Game Pass; we're already getting more than what we pay for.

    Been playing Wasteland 3 with this and finding the fictional apocalyptic wasteland much more enjoyable than the real one.

        I've never played the earlier ones, but this one is probably my favourite game of this year; all round very good writing, game mechanics, music and you can get erotic with a robot.

    They just added WWZ which is a great L4D game, for those who didn't get it from Epic.
    Crusader Kings 3 was also added, which is interesting because it's actually not available on AU Steam due to classification.
    For those who liked DONTNOD's Life is Strange, there is also Tell me Why that just came out.

    I have had this sub for $1 per month, cancel/resub, for about a year, and there are 200 games available now.

    I've had this for a while and the worst part is that the interface is pretty buggy, you get a lot of games super cheap but you're a beta tester. It's been worth it for me so far though.

      Received an email confirming this last week.
