The grapes are grown in the Gomersal sub region of the Barossa Valley, on the Homes’ family property. It is a rich Shiraz that captures the intense ripe fruit flavours produced in the vineyard and enhanced with integrated oak flavours.

I got some of the older vintages (06, 08) on Grays years ago cheap and thought it was a very good wine at the time .. worth around $20 a bottle so comparable to other shiraz in that 20-30 spectrum… not sure it'd compete at $40 but for $12 it could be a good buy.
