      They’re wrong. It’s the same game from the 2000s. Even the graphics look like they are just scaled up from 720p. DSC is a million times better.

        Isn't the whole purpose of Ace Combat it's cheesy over-the-top story rather than the actual gameplay itself?

          @Ponka: Ace Combat and DCS are not the same type of game. One is a sim, and the other is a cheesy arcade "interactive movie" type game. Both enjoyable in their own right. Don't go into Ace Combat expecting a sim.

      Played it and finished it. It's not bad, not fantastic. I enjoyed the cheesy over the top story, and thought the gameplay wasn't bad. Disappointing that unlocking planes in singleplayer either needs copious amounts of grind or you to play the now dead multiplayer. I only unlocked maybe 20 percent of the planes and equipment by the end of the game.
