A few good bargains at Rivers.

Rubber flip flops are finally down in price. Better than havaianas imo.

The bath robes are in the women's section (3/4 length) and look very comfy.

    here you go…

    • Um. Thank you. You may have got the link wrong.

      • You may have got the link wrong.

        Only if size doesn't matter.

        • -1

Nah, that still doesn't work. I know you troll, jv, but if nobody takes you seriously, I'm worried you may lose your sanity ;)

  • Kmart thongs still $1.25.

    Good enough for me.

    • So cheap!! I would be snapping them up if they were natural rubber.

      • "Natural rubber"? From rubber trees?? Like, from the Amazon Rainforest or Indonesia? Why?? And to what end?

        • Ruber in general: you don't have petroleum based synthetic material smell and a cheap mix of variety length synthetic polymers which can be easily absorbed by sweaty feet skin, and the resources are renewable. As to the ethics of producing either the Rivers or the Kmart thongs, I would say they would lie on the same plane. What do you reckon?

          • @Embaloo: I grew up on them (before they caught on in Oz), and never had a problem with synthetic ones. I wouldn't sleep on a synthetic rubber mattress, though (if there ever was one).

But, if what you're concerned is the environmental impacts of thongs, natural rubber is not without its own consequences.

            • @wisdomtooth: Yeah hey I don't disagree. Even though I think it's a marvellous material, rubber's slave history (early 1900s) has been pretty shocking too. What a corrupt world.
