    We wish it wasnt so, but every exchange is required to do so in Australia including coinbase or other competitors.
    Plus we use VixVerify a trusted ID verification service to do it, so we don't have access to your license or passport number from VixVerify.
    Hope that helps but I can understand the hesitation.

    It's annoying for everyone, but every exchange is legally required to do so in Australia.
    Plus we use VixVerify a trusted ID verification service to do it, so we don't have access to your license or passport number from VixVerify.
    Hope that helps but I can understand the hesitation, and the name comes from Elbaite a gemstone common in Australia.

          @Ultraman: well, just looked it up. It is a gemstone, with about 10 lines on Wikipedia, and no mention of Australia on the page.
          so 'common in Australia' is probably a stretch…

    Hey, this referral credit does not expire so you're free to keep it in your account until you see a buy opportunity in the market.
    Because it's a credit, it's applied against a buy purchase, and you receive the cryptocurrency to your nominated wallet directly, there isn't any need to withdraw crypto, we don't hold users cryptocurrency.
