it says the carpet head is for V9, does it also fit the v10?
From what I can tell the V9, V9P and V10 are all the same accessories. I have looked at videos and pictures and can see no difference. Can anyone else confirm or deny?

This is what makes the dyson handhelds rock. People who whinge that "handheld vacuums have too few air watts vs mains powered units" don't own one else they'd have a clue.
Tldr: this is a must have for carpets.
For those that have this, is it actually better than the normal head? I've had few issues with the normal head but there have been times where I think this might be useful.

Yeah it's Better. The carpet head combs through your carpet whereas the soft roller kinda just smooshes it down, if that makes sense? The hair does get stuck in it fairly easily though .
sadly the hair stuck happens on all types of roller type heads. Even on the dyson it happens.
Whoever invents a way to make roller heads which dont tangle hair in it will be rich if they sell the design to Dyson.
A few Shark vacuums have a self cleaning brush roller. Pity so expensive here in AU. Pretty good units in US and cheap too.
