I have used ordinary SD cards like this one in my dash cam without any problems for the past year but technically, you should get those "endurance" cards designed for this purpose:

I've been using a regular one for nearly 4 years, no issues yet, but I don't do crazy hours behind the wheel or anything

This site is a scam. Order a A2000 HDD months ago. Lost in post, go through the entire process of them trying to say it takes a month to deliver 200km and then Australia post to look into it. Then they agreed on refund and now will not reply to my ticket. Had to do chargeback. Beware, if anything goes wrong there is nothing you can do but a chargeback and wait months
