Recommendations please to replace 3 expiring Boost Mobile yearly 80GB plan

We have 3 Boost 80gb yearly plan that I bought last year at the discounted price from Coles that are expiring in October.

Two are for university students and one for me, with all three SIMS are under my name.

Can anyone please recommend a yearly plan with a moderate amount of data? Anything from 30gb a year is sufficient.

I have a fourth SIM for a high school student on Amaysim's 2gb/28 days for $10/mth, and am happy to continue with that, but the two uni students and I need more data with preferably a yearly plan so that I don't have to worry about it for another year.

Thanks very much!

Just recharge it, the plan is grandfathered so you're going to get the same price if you purchased it before it was discontinued.

    • Totally agree

If so why replace the Boost 80gb plan when its not going away. Its not being taken away from them

Its just not available for NEW customers. I think they are confused and believe that existing customers are being kicked off the plan. Which is not the case.

So the 80gb data per year is enough or not? Or you want more per month?

Why don't you just recharge $150 or the $300 per year 12 month BOOST plan? The $300 12 month gets U 240gb data, works out to be 20gb per month, $25 per month. Though I would keep an eye out for data usage, if you exceed the 240gb then it is rather pricey to get more data. Or go by the month by month plans.

If you can be bothered porting out and then back into Boost, and getting the new user 12 month BOOST plan for cheap you can usually save some $ but it is a pain in the a$$ esp if you have 3 Sims to do that for. I would probably skip this even if you are saving some money. Too much effort. Just recharge it if you are happy with Boost.

  • Hi, yes the 80gb a year is more than sufficient.
    Thanks for the suggestions.

  • Not a yearly plan, but Belong option 1 is 31GB/$95 if you continue it for a year
