Ducky One 2 Horizon PBT Brown Cherry MX Mechanical Keyboard $167.81 Delivered (HK) @ TobyDeals

FIRST TIME POSTER! Been in the market for a good keyboard. My Kogan ones are pretty junk, they keep breaking. Was scouting around, lots of OOS. Was gonna purchase from PCCG but saw this available and in stock! And about 30 dollars cheaper than PCCG factoring shipping. I know this is probably not the cheapest for this keyboard historically, but looks to be the cheapest (and in stock) for covid times.

Please give me feedback, comments about my post thanks

  • Umart has Anne Pro 2 on special for $119 so cheap and in stock.

  • I have a ducky shine 5. Built like a bloody tank. No issues. All lightning works flawlessly it's atleast 4 years old from memory. All software works perfectly also.

meh…MX Browns and ugly color layout…

    • What's wrong with MX brown?

      • YMMV, but for me, Not tactile enough. It's is indeed an improvement if you are used to crappy dome switches, but miles away from others around ( e.g box kaihl- which are also cheaper).

Errm MX Brown is probably the best cherry switch…

Don't know about this store and the color is a personal choice, but damn, this is the best keyboard I've ever owned!

No keyboard ever made is worth more than $50-60. Thats with backlighting, wireless, rechargeable, tickles your balls and blows in your ear

  • I ended up buying a Leopold FC900R after reading the Wirecutter's review. Mwave has pretty competitive prices compared to the US (but their shipping is quite expensive)

  • Any deals on Das keyboards?

  • Don't trust TobyDeal AU. I bought a phone from them. They did very fast delivery, which is good. But their price is in AUD, but they charged me from international, then I was charged around $10 for international transaction fee.

  • Anyone received further correspondence from Toby Deals after purchasing this?

    • i had dispatch confirmation, still awaiting shipping / tracking details. also payment was made through paypal, and there was a separate paypal confirmation

      • They took funds from my PayPal but no email whatsoever. Status says processing. Guess I’m one of the unlucky ones and prolly gonna wait awhile :(

        • I did get procesing emails and dispatch emails, it would seem odd that you wouldn't have gotten those. I intend to update here through my journey lol

@refreshingwater: Yeah nothing yet. I’ve emailed them so we will see. Lucky I’ve paid by PayPal, so at worse I’ll just lodge a complaint.

  • so, update to my loyal readers. the product has arrived, and im typing with my new keyboard as we speak.
in terms of tobydeals itself, i didnt have any issues with the purchasing process or shipping. a tracking number was provided and i was able to track my purchase.
payment was made through paypal, so no issues there, and the amount paid was as expected. so in other words, no issues there.

as to the authenticity of the product, i'm no expert in that area and have little experience with mechanical keyboards on the whole.

feel free to PM me for more info?
but sticking to the authorised dealers as others have advised is definitely not a bad idea.
