Not hall effect (this is a gaming keyboard, no?)… plastic build… meh value.

the only thing gaming about this keyboard is the awfully designed keycaps.

    • Plastic build doesn't necessarily make it bad.

They can sound pretty good, plus if you were constantly transporting it, a kilo plus aluminium board would get annoying.

  • I wonder if they'll make a set of Beavis and Butt-head keys for it?

Whats with these small keyboards nowadays

Agreed. I'm trying to find a full-size mechanical for work (quiet switches) and it's pretty difficult for a reasonable price.
Using the Omen Sequencer at home.

Get a barebones full size kit and BYO silent switches. You won't find many prebuilts configured with silent switches, because the market for them isn't all that big

        • Any brand you recommend?

I'd go a keychron and get either Red or Silent Red switches - they're pretty quiet

Nice, I'll keep a lookout - looks like most of the Keychron Silent Reds aren't available. I'll have a look around for barebones like CrispyChrispy suggests also. I had previously looked at the EPOMAKER RT100 (note quite 100%) with "Sea Salt Silent" switches, but not sure about quality (and even availability of the silent switches).

Also after the same thing - full size one with keypad and silent switches. Everything seems to be too expensive nowadays.

    • I just received my AulaF99 today. It is 96%, which is my preference over 100% yet having the number pad (need to use the for work).

    • mostly people not needing a num pad much anymore these days. There definitely are professions that would, but gamer's probably not. I do like having more desk space with a more compact keyboard (75%). 75% is basically a condensed version of a TKL (ten keyless - e.g. no numpad).
