  • What's the difference between that and this https://www.amazon.com.au/Portable-Photography-Lighting-Dimm…

Looks the same to me, but the list price is $15 cheaper.

    FYI: start at 9pm!

  • -5

Doesn’t work, still trying to charge 70 bucks

  • Which is better?
This or https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07DWX22J3?m=AT08MO1H0SZSV when deal comes back?

    • depends on what you need it for.

    • that: its 3 times more powerful, produces 3x the light, runs off batteries if you need to, comes with a transformer if you don't. the stands are better, it's made of aluminium, it has a CRI of 96+ whereas the others don't even mention CRI (run away!).

What sort of deal did they have? If the others are on sale for $50, if you can get them for $150 its a no brainer'

The 480 LEDs were down to $112 earlier in the year - which is why I have a pair collecting dust :P

        • +1

Dang, I'd jump on that price if they can do it again.

    • This Neewer 2 Packs Dimmable 5600K USB LED can power on using a powerbank and the one you showing is power only.

    • +1

The 480 LEDs are much better lights if you just want lighting - brighter, better colour accuracy at CRI 96+, and variable colour temperature.

These, however, are much more compact and portable. Having said that, the lack of a battery option on these lights almost defeats the purpose of them being more compact - yes, you can plug them into a USB power bank, but it's still not as versatile as some of the other on camera lights which can run off battery.

So, depending on what you want to do (and how many light sources you need) one may be more economical than the other.

Dang, I paid $60 for these two weeks ago. They work well, I use them for video conferencing so people can see my beautiful face better.

Things I found out after opening them up:
The poles are self-sticks, they literally say "selfie-stick" on the packaging, but they work fine.
They are all plastic construction, if you're not moving them around much like I am then it won't matter, but I personally wouldn't be taking these out in the field.

Offer hasn't started yet. Try again at 9pm.

I'm sorry but this is not a good deal.

It was on lightning sale a couple of times on Amazon in the past month for around $34.

On Aliexpress I saw it for around $30 within the past month. Right now it's $40 (also stack with cashrewards/shopback):

I've purchased this led twin kit a few weeks ago, it's definitely a bright light.

I wouldn't pay any more than $35 for it though.

    • Nice pickup. No need to wait till 9pm (why??) either.

    • According to Camel*3, this has not dropped below 38.99.

  • Thanks. How to track the price change?
