Great app, I’ve bought this previously and has a good tool array including individual colour controls for saturation/hue brightness

    ACDSee.. hmm childhood memories

    • hahahaha

      • +7

Yes, because the built-in Windows image viewer was pure rubbish.

        • +2

The cached thumbnail view in ACDSee was amazing at the time. Did Windows copy this feature from them? Don’t remember Windows 95 having it, but pretty sure ACDSee in Win 95 had it.

        • what built into window app is not absolute trash?

feel nostalgic abt this deal. ACD for photo editing, Nero for ripping, Winamp for audio…those were the days. Thanks OP.

I probably have an old version of ACDSee somewhere backed up. Last time I used the older version it was perfect and extremely lightweight compared to the newer versions.

      you forgot Napster.

      • +2

you forgot utorrent, imgburn, CloneCD/DVD, Demon tools….

        • +3

DAEMON tools! Now that is nostalgia.
          Alcohol 120% too.

@ATangk: mIRC. Memories flooding back. CD ripping with Nero. Play the age game of 1X burning and so on.

            • @ausremi: Loading .BMP files on dialup…

        • Don't forget the free viruses in MasterOfPuppets.mp3.exe

      • You forgot Sextris

Free is free! I paid for it years ago and found ACDSee Pro's camera and raw processing one of the best for iOS.

  • Only clicked on this deal expecting to find all these nostalgic comments!

  • Nice! Thanks for this.

  • I want this for Windows!

    • windows is also free on app store, for limited time

  • Cheers OP! Downloaded, will give this a go.

  • Was hostage to this until I discovered IrfanView. Now I prefer Windows just because of that app.

  • Another "I totally forget getting this when it was last free" app duh. Thanks OP

  • I'm still disappointed at missing out on Procreate free all those years ago. ;-(

  • Just tried it. Hmm, the interface seems clunky and retro. I’m not sure it takes any better photos than the stock iOS app. Be useful if it disabled the camera shutter sound.

    Wow, that's a name I haven't heard in a while!
