“Franke pull out” is the reason I was born.

  • Can we replace ourselves or do we need a plumber? Shipping to 4556?

    • Depends on how proficient or klutzy you are. But if you have to ask, I'm leaning toward the latter.
Have you ever changed a leaky washer or replaced a fuse?

Seriously, thanks to youtube, anybody can change a tap. So time to learn! They even remind you to turn off at the meter :-)

But these RRP are a joke. OP's shop is close to Ikea, where a similar tap with 10 year warranty is $79, and even the fanciest ones under $300 normal price.

I reckon this type is much better than a pull-out:

Made in China yes, just like the expensive ones.

    • You can get a plumber but when you realise how easy it is to replace (if you're drilling another whole maybe a different story) a mixer tap you'll be kicking yourself.

My wife was telling me just to get a plumber in to hook up our new mixer tap & twin undersink filter system.

Sure enough I stuffed up and reversed the hot & cold (don't take the photo instructions as gospel lol) and took me 3 hours to complete it including watching the Youtube videos but I ended up spending $20 for a pair of pliers compared to $150+ for a plumber to come take a look at it.

    • OPs one pulls out, bunnings one doesn't
