Here before all the RTX 3070 comments

      What about 3060ti comments???

  • +5

Just wait for 30 series to be fully stocked, no point dropping $$ on these unless its dirt cheap.

    • +12

Some people wanna game now through to February

      • +3

        3060 Ti, end of October.

        • October 2021?

          • @cycleri3: No, just this appears to be the name for the second GA104 SKU at launch, one that will be competing against one of the AMD GPUs set to be announced at the end of this month.

No GA106 (i.e. 3060, 3050) models until next year most likely, but a 3060 Ti in a pre-built should also be highly competitive up against the consoles.

    stay the course! ;)

  • Same price at Umart right now.

Still, I'm waiting to see what the 30xx release does, even if I still get a 20xx it should drop the prices.

    • And centrecom

  • Looking to dump my Rx580 8GB for this. Any comments on why I shouldn't have?

    • +5

Could almost get a 2070super/5700xt for that price second hand?

Also big navi announcement soon may drop the price further

      3060 Ti, end of October.

    • Depends on the gaming you're doing.

For 2k? Maybe… But the rtx2070super deals seem better value.

  • +2

wasnt this lowest was around 400-430?

    • Maybe you're thinking of the 2060?

    • I got mine for 480 through the Umart price error, and happy to see that's still a good deal!

  • I'm just assuming that these kinda deals mean that they're desperate to offload these cards in any way possible without taking a big financial hit. So tempted but gonna hold off a little longer.

  • is there a point of running 2 gpu? I was thinking of getting a 1660 super (but it is currently oos at shoppingexpress) then getting a budget 3xxx when it become available/affordable

  • +6

    wait for RTX 4xxx series.

  • +3

Bought for friend's son. The 3xxx will be overkill for his needs and pushes the budget out too much to justify the new series. He also wants to use it this year and not when there's finally stock around next year. Good timing really!

    • +1

      Can i be your friend

      • Haha sorry, they're still paying for it! I'm just sorting out the parts ;)

I have this exact card, the white LEDs are super bright, runs fairly cool and quiet (maxes out like 77c)

Most games run 1080p/Ultra at 90+ FPS, eSports games run like a dream!

how do you know about this deal nocure?

  • Be careful with this card mine bricked it self after 2 months of usage ended up getting a refund on it.

  • Pretty happy with this card, been doing some solid gaming every day for 3 months and going well - even some decent ray tracing performance in Control (albeit with DLSS). Maxes out at 70-72 c or so in my case.

  • +1

$469 delivered at PC Byte if you don't need/want the SSD.

  • +3

I think people are waiting for $399 deal for this, then it's an OK deal.
