I have a 8700k o.c @ 5.00 ghz, looking to upgrade to a 3080 when I can find one, should I also upgrade my cpu or does it still have a few years left in it? I would rather stick to intel just so I don’t have to change my motherboard I currently have the asrock z370

  Not really any need to upgrade your CPU. The 10600K is considered the best pure gaming CPU and that's essentially the same as the 8700K.
