  Last time footlocker had a 20% cashback special I bought 2 pairs of shoes in the same order. 2 days later they told me 1 pair was out of order so they sent me the other pair only. A reasonable person would have thought they will pay the cashback on the 1 pair they sent right? No they rejected my cashback claim due to my order has been updated. WTF. I reached out to TA and he helped to file a claim again. He ended up approving the cashback claim himself and later shared me an print screen that Footlockers rejected the 2nd claim. So if you are only buying because of the extra cashback watch out footlocker.

    I try to make separate orders (if I don’t need to pay for shipping) to avoid out of stock/order cancellation problems that might jeopardise my cash back.

    Ok. I thought I am a long term OZB reader/user, but I have never heard of this information before: "TA approving the cashback claim himself". Does TA (I assume, someone called Tight Arse) own cashrewards or something?

      It is him. It seems like he has a higher position at cashreward than a normal customer rep that you would normally contact.

    Just wasted an hour with Footlocker customer service who flat out denied they had any relationship with Cashrewards and the manager refused to tell me whether the system was playing up last night when I could not complete my transaction. Offered to do an internal investigation but said they would not tell me the result. Funnily enough, his minion had earlier told me they were aware of system issues and it had been elevated to IT. I gave them rough time but they wanted screen shot. All over between $10 and $20 bucks. My biggest problem was the attitude - particularly insisting no relationship with Cashrewards even after I sent them a link. Left a very bad taste in my mouth…
