  A joining fee is a fee you pay when you join… But then I'm sure you'd have to pay the application fee!

    I just joined. I was charged $30 membership fee + $11 joining fee. So I'm guessing its $88 more tomorrow.

  Yeah i know, i already signed up for a different one this morning which I'm going to cancel and keep with this one instead.
  
  You can sign up online so you don't have to go there anyway.

Nice gym, but it joining fee is usually 50% off. The so you are really saving around 30. Good deal
