    amazon

    also $24 for 450ml

    • Just got two of these and two from OP.

      Cheers.

    • Thanks, I didn’t have this size and grabbed 3 sets!

  • +1

    Thanks. I’m in.

Do they sell these in 6 for cheaper? Or is the singular price of $7.50 the best I’ll get?

    • You'll be hard pressed to find it cheaper (which includes FREE shipping if buying 6).
Locally, there might be retail deals and who knows you might be able to get a price match

    • Usually cheaper in 6.
DJ's usually have them at a decent price. They do come up on Amazon or Catch occasionally if you keep an eye out.

Excellent glasses. but 350ml didn't fit under my Barista express - had to buy the 250ml.

    • +1

Agreed, although you can make them fit. Just need to give them a little tilt around the spout and it'll fit.

    • go from the side. I can fit 400 ml mugs under it

  • +2

    does the brand matter?
i found some on target for cheaper

You could ask that question about basically any product and get the same response, I think. It depends what you value in the product. If cost is most important, get the cheaper option. If quality is more important, you might have to spend some more money. Borosilicate glass has very good resistance to thermal shock (why this is good for coffee/soups/etc.), and I imagine the build quality from Bodum will be a bit nicer. But without really looking into either, the quality assessment is based purely on my opinion of the brands.

    • This is the comparable item.Same type of glass, but slightly smaller, different colour and not sure how the thickness of the glass compares.

Word of warning, from experience, PLACE ice cubes into these. Don’t drop them in, like I did, and still copping grief from the Mrs over it 😀

    • +1

Why? Is the inner lining too thin or something?

      • +1

They are really good glasses, just not when a you are a little tanked and “drop” the ice in, in hindsight, like a moron 😂

        • All I can picture is you RKOing the ice into the glass when you put "drop" in quotations hahaha

    • +1

Like you my Mrs made me buy a whole new set because I broke 2 of them for being a little too rough with them.
So 6x new ones on the way so I have 2x (glass buffer) should I break more… :D

    • +1

How do you find it without a handle for hot drinks?

      • +1

        It's double walled.

Heat doesn't pass through. That's the whole point of them…

      • +1

        Brilliant.

      • +1

They're double walled, the outer glass doesn't get the heat transfer

  • +1

    costco cheaper aint it?

Check the reviews. Longevity seems to be an issue, and some people had them fog up after a few uses.

    • I've run mine for a while with no issues. There are polycarbonate ones which I would avoid.

    • I've had the Canteen series for 3-4 years at a guess and no issues apart from breaking when they've been dropped.
My parents had these Pavina ones for a good 5+ years I'd say and again, no issues. We put both sets thru the dishwasher etc.

    • I have and would prefer the Avanti ones, i.e. here: https://www.kitchenwarehouse.com.au/Avanti-Cafe-Twin-Wall-Gl…

They are completely sealed. No opening that will eventually let moisture in.

  • This product is extremely sensitive and can crack and break easily due to how thin the glass is -

Place Ice cubes into the glass (don't throw them in) as it can crack the bottom of the inner glass
Due to the glass being rounded and having a slippery shape when washing these keep the glass low to the sink basin

They generally last as long as you carefully treat this as fine china.

Won't let me add to the cart - maybe it's sold out??

    • Looks like the 350mls are gone :( I was deliberating and managed to get them just in time.

    • +1

Won't let me add to the cart

      Use the drinks cart…

  • +1

Keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold

    and warm drinks warm..

  • It's a great concept and keeps coffee warm longer but they just aren't workable as they break so easily. They should design them more strongly.
Bought 6 of them a while back and they all broke.

    • Mine have only ever broken from being dropped. No issues putting them thru the dishwasher or anything like that. How did yours break?

      • Dishwasher from memory, also temp changes on rinsing and slight knocks.

  • The 450ml you can still order but they don’t ship until October 9 or after

  • already sold out…so quick

  • place the ice after the liquid if you want to be safe.

Owned Bodum glasses for many years!

  • ohhh wow i never knew thats why it was double glass, for insulation… the things you learn.

  • +1

These are back in stock for those who missed out.

  • Thanks
