Pre lock down I saw them all the time in Melbourne city during business hours. I think the position of police is that if you are wearing a helmet and doing the right thing they will turn a blind eye
Bikes are generally fine, it's Scooters, skateboards, etc that are a legal issue
I live in QLD and recently bought an electric bike limited to 25km/hr. It's great being able to cruise past people on pushbikes while going up the Gateway, but I often get passed by people on electric scooters going WELL quicker than the legal limit of 25km/hr.

What's the realistic real world range for this bike? How compact does it get. Assume it can be folded up. Be good if you could fold it up when on train.
I’m 65kg using qicycle can get 40kms with 20% battery left, my mate 85-90kg got 40kms with 5% battery left. (90% on eco mode and 10% boost).
