Question for The Makers of The OzBargain iOS App

since the iOS ozbargin app has came out I have been loving it and it has helped me in my day to day ozbargining
I just have a few questions/requests

  1. will there ever be option to view forums, comps etc via the app
  2. will there ever be notifications on your phone (that are almost instant) from a search alert
  3. will iOS 14 widgets ever me implemented. could have new deals, hot deals etc on the widget
  4. dark mode?
  5. can there also be implemented a back button as sometimes the app gets stuck on a certain page
  6. maybe an auto refresh feature
  7. 7.maybe some ppl may want a landscape mode(I wouldn't use it)

    Why do you need the iOS app? I create a shortcut icon on my main screen that just links to the website. It handles it pretty well on mobile.

    Not related to the ios app but i have the issue when i get notifications on the android app it doesn't link to the notification (forum response) itself, merely the last page i was looking at on the app.

      ye that use to happen to me
      though for some reason I don't get alerts on my phone from search alert

    We hacked together an iOS app a few months ago to claim "official app" on the app store, however the recommended method to access the site on iOS is still via browser. Sorry we just don't have the resources to further develop the app. The only thing that's "easier" on the app is the integrated notification.

        I think ozbargainers can't afford iOS so hence no need for app
