      Thanks for the warning

      Any particular reason why?

Poor build quality of the switches. My Gamdias Hermes keyboard feels much better than this.

      thanks, i trust you then

When they list a mechanical keyboard without a brand for the switches inside it there's a good chance they are knockoff switches with very poor quality.

Key design: Mechanical with Greetech Blue type Switch

    yeah, nah.

  • Gateron and Kailh switches are what you should look for if you want a affordable cherry-clone keyboard, Greetech is consistency issues from what I've heard.

    • Yeah, from what I've heard they've got considerably worse quality control and the switches feel considerably scratchier.

    • any recommendations for best affordable one that is tactile but quiet?

tactile but quiet<— I guess you are looking for brown switch

  • I always thought Omen was HP's high end gaming brand. Finding out that they chose to use blue switches instead of red, and no name brand ones at that, and sell it for less than half the price of most gaming planks proved to me that the Omen brand is just cheap junk.

  • these keyboards are also like 4 key rollover, and the key zones are pretty shit. I couldn't recommend this one either for gaming or if you're at all a fast typer
